3 chapters · 2 minutes · A little perspective to take with youA good product photograph can tell you a lot about a shoe’s shape and color. It cannot answer every question about the exact item, its condition, or how it will feel on your feet. A few minutes with the written details can be more useful than another hour of scrolling.
Make a short checklist before you begin. That gives you something consistent to compare, especially when several listings look similar. The goal is to understand what is being offered and what remains uncertain, without letting the excitement of the image make those decisions for you.
01 · Confirm the exact item
Read the model name, colorway, and style reference together. Similar names can describe different versions, and an image may be illustrative rather than a photograph of the specific item. Look for an explicit explanation of what the photos represent.
Check included packaging and accessories when they matter to you. A spare set of laces or an original box should be stated in the description rather than assumed. If an important detail is missing, use the seller or platform’s supported questions process before making a decision.
02 · Separate size from condition
Check the sizing system as well as the number. US, UK, and EU labels are not interchangeable, and the men’s or women’s designation may matter. Consult the relevant maker’s size information for the specific model rather than relying on a universal conversion.
Read the condition description separately. Look for clear statements about wear, defects, repairs, and what is included. Do not treat a broad phrase such as ‘great condition’ as a substitute for the details you need. You are allowed to decide that the information is not sufficient.

THE STOZ PERSPECTIVE
03 · Review the complete checkout
Compare the complete order total with your own limit, including any displayed processing and shipping charges. Review the delivery option and its stated window. An estimate is useful for planning, but it should not be treated as a promise unless the seller explicitly makes one.
Read the applicable return and cancellation terms before submitting the order. Save the order confirmation and the written description where possible. These steps will not remove every uncertainty, but they help you make a decision based on the actual offer rather than its presentation.

- Confirm model, colorway, and sizing system.
